Tree Planting at Clifton Park

Posted by on October 24, 2016

October 22 was a special day for six:eight. Once again, we lent a hand to one of Blue Water Baltimore’s weekly tree plantings. Twelve dedicated, hard-working volunteers came to Clifton Park to get our hands a little dirty for clean water and strong communities. Together with our neighbors and Baltimore TreeKeepers, we planted several native saplings around the Rita Church Community Center. What a fantastic, nurturing way to see the goodness in God’s creation, and to add to its beauty!

Blue Water Baltimore is a not-for-profit organization focusing on restoration, advocacy, and education to achieve healthier water in Baltimore watersheds. Their work in cleaning up neighborhoods and planting trees helps improve our communities and environmental conditions.

And so the good work begins!
